Returning to Arman FM After 10 Years

After a decade, I returned to Arman FM, the place where my nighttime psychology program once became a living bond with thousands of listeners.

Today, after 10 years, I returned to Radio Arman (Arman FM), where I once hosted a nighttime psychology program called Zhwand. For me, Zhwand was not just a program; it was part of my life.

Back then, Zhwand was a source of empathy, listening, and awareness for thousands of listeners. Arman, at that time, had one of the best teams, beating day and night for strong programming and keeping millions of our fellow citizens engaged.

But today, many things had changed. The voices were unfamiliar, the faces were new, and the rhythm of movement felt different. Still, the studio was there, the same recording and broadcast rooms that, even in silence, still carried a sense of being alive.

I paused for a few moments and looked around more than once. Maybe I was searching for something I could not fully name. Perhaps traces of my former self, or maybe I just wanted to be sure this place was still the same place where part of me had once taken shape and a deep connection had formed between me and my listeners.

For a moment, memories moved in front of me: old colleagues, nights of live Zhwand broadcasts, listeners who might still remember my voice from time to time, or perhaps that was only my imagination.

My purpose today was to join a health program where dear Dr. Mojtaba Sufi had selected psychosomatic disorder as the discussion topic. Truly, he showed great kindness.

I do not even remember clearly how today's program went.

The studio carried me back to years that seem lost, to quiet but living versions of myself that may still be breathing in the air of those rooms. For a few moments, I even felt it was Zhwand again, but it was not. It was a health program. And among voices and memories, I touched a sweet part of my past once more.
